What it does
Connects a site running SupportCandy to its MAM
mobile app — either the site’s own published app or the shared WPMAM
Support container app ($100/yr plan).
For customers: view their tickets (scoped to their own tickets and any
usergroups they belong to), open new tickets using the exact fields the
site configured in SupportCandy (required flags included), reply with
photos, close tickets, and get related knowledgebase articles suggested on
the ticket detail.
For agents and admins: everything above, plus status/priority/category
management, agent assignment, editing ticket fields and Agent-Only fields
after creation, ticket tags, running manual workflows, and — for admins —
inviting/managing agents and support groups straight from the app.
App forms (all generated — no Gravity Forms)
Forms are built from the site’s own SupportCandy configuration and appear
automatically in the app:
| Form | Who sees it | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| New Ticket | everyone | Fields + required flags from SC’s Ticket Form Fields config; agents additionally get Agent-Only fields and Tags |
| Edit Ticket | agents | SC custom fields, Agent-Only fields (caof cap), Tags (tt cap); permissions mirror SC’s own widgets |
| Note / Reply | everyone | Reply or internal note, with images |
| Close Ticket | customers | Uses the site’s configured close status |
| Status / Priority / Category | agents | |
| Assign Agent | agents/admins | Notifies the new assignee |
| Run Workflow | agents | Only manual workflows the agent may run on that ticket |
| Invite Agent / Manage Agent | site admins | Invite by email — existing users become agents immediately, new emails get an invitation and the role applies at signup |
| Create Support Group / Manage Group Member | admins + group supervisors | Requires the SC Usergroups add-on; a user can belong to multiple groups |
Notifications
Every enabled SupportCandy email notification is mirrored into MAM
Main’s Notification Manager, so push notifications (and SMS, if the site
configures Twilio) ride the same events the site already chose. On
container-tier sites, pushes relay through the WPMAM hub using the WPMAM
Support app’s credentials, and notification emails gain a “View this
ticket in the app” deep link.
Knowledgebase suggestions
If SupportCandy’s Knowledgebase integration is configured
(Support → Settings → KB), the ticket detail shows up to three related
articles (“These articles may help”) matched on the ticket subject —
after the ticket is created, never blocking submission.
Container tier specifics ($100 plan)
- Home screen stack and bottom tab bar are preconfigured and locked (the
left menu stays editable) — enforced server-side via MAM Main’s
mam_app_settings_nav_lockedfilter. - A Support App panel in wp-admin (under App Setup) shows plan status
(trial / subscribed / lapsed) and generates enrollment links/QR content
for users, fetched securely from WPMAM. - Ticket emails link to
wpmobileappmanager.com/app-sc?...— app users
open in the app; everyone else is bounced to the site’s own SC ticket
page.
