What it does

Every form in your app — add a listing, edit a listing, contact us — is
generated automatically by MAM Main with default fields, and those defaults
work with nothing installed. This plugin is for when you want more: it
connects Ninja Forms to your app, so custom forms you build in Ninja Forms’
drag-and-drop editor can take the place of the generated ones, or become
entirely new screens in your app.

Ninja Forms core is free on wordpress.org, which makes this the
lowest-friction way to customize your app’s forms. (If your site runs
Gravity Forms instead, use MAM Gravity Forms Manager — the two managers do
the same job and cannot run at the same time.)

How it works

• Form definitions — your Ninja Forms are supplied to the app
  automatically. Field types are translated to the app’s form vocabulary
  (text, select, radio, checkbox, date, …); required flags, choices,
  defaults, placeholders, and descriptions carry over. Anti-spam, submit
  buttons, and commerce fields are omitted — the app provides its own
  submit experience.
• App submissions — a submission made in your app is recorded as a
  native Ninja Forms submission, visible in the Ninja Forms dashboard
  alongside submissions from your website, and the site admin receives a
  notification email listing the submitted values.
• Web submissions — a Ninja Form submitted on your website can feed the
  same MAM pipeline the app uses: the submission creates or updates a post
  of the configured type, writes each registered field as post meta, and
  fires the same hooks the Gravity Forms manager fires, so features built
  on those hooks (GeoDirectory listings, special offers) work with either
  forms plugin.

Notes and limits

• The Gravity Forms and Ninja Forms managers are mutually exclusive. If
  both are active, this plugin stands down and posts an admin alert.
• Ninja Forms email actions configured on a form do not fire for app
  submissions in this version; the admin notification email is sent
  instead. Website submissions are unaffected (Ninja Forms processes them
  normally before MAM’s pipeline runs).
• Conditional logic and file uploads are paid Ninja Forms add-ons and are
  not part of the app form translation in this version.
